It seems like family reunions are a staple of summertime. There's nothing quite like family togetherness, is there? Visiting with aunts and uncles, cousins we haven't seen in years, and perhaps there'll be a few faces that we're quite sure we've never seen before. *sigh*. Well anyway, don't forget to check out our quote bank on families, because it's got everything you need to say just the right thing!

Here's a great mini album from We R Memory Keepers that's great for pre-family reunion preparation, or post-family reunion memorabilia. Or hey, you could do it as a craft during the family reunion! Options are endless with this great design:

And take a look at this. Here's another great mini album made by Zutter designer Jenny Svensson:

As usual we've rounded up a great scrapbook page that might be nice to add to your collection. It's a Teresa Collins design:

Doing anything outdoorsy this summer? Let's hope so! There's a whole world out there to see—and scrapbook about! Lots of families like to spend family vacations by camping, hiking, biking, you name it—as long as it's outdoors. We already published a quote bank filled with sayings on camping and hiking and swimming and fishing and such, so today we're here to present some quotes on nature. You know, that stuff you'll be enjoying while you're out on all your excursions? Well, we're loaded with good ones.

But before that, there's just a few items of business that you're probably going to be glad we told you. First off—the ship for our October Canada/New England crafting cruise is filling up! A few more inside cabins remain, but they're dropping like flies. So book your spot NOW so you can take part in all the fun. We had an absolute ball on our May Alaskan adventure, and things can only get better! Plus, if you want to enjoy nature, this is definitely one way to do it—it's going to look heavenly there in the fall time. In fact, several of the same ladies who joined us in Alaska are planning on coming to Canada and New England because they enjoyed themselves so much.

And speaking of cruises, how about a Caribbean one? Well your chance all revolves in that Cricut Ticket! And this weekend only, you can get the Cricut Ticket cartridges—Home Decor, Jubilee, Simply Sweet and Stand and Salute—at Oh My Crafts for $39.99! What a steal, right?

Summertime is especially great because the kids are home from school with nothing to do all day but spend time with you, right? Riiiiiight. Hopefully no one's gotten cabin fever just yet—especially you. These are the times to treasure for playing together! Today we'd like to feature some great pages that showcase what we all do best—PLAY. A summer without play isn't even being worth called a summer.

Here's some "cutes" featuring our pal, the Cricut. The first one was made with Opposites Attract and Going Places.

Try using Walk in My Garden for the next time you walk in the park!

Next, this playful page uses Makin' Grade.

Oh, and you'll love these designs from American Crafts:

Do ya like mud? Basic Grey and Bazzill do. The first features the Ambrosia paper set from Basic Grey, and the second is a great layout from Bazzill.

And for those non-mud fans out there, here's some nice, clean layouts featuring water. Compliments of Bazzill.

So wherever you play, make sure you have fun! And take lots of pictures. But you already knew to do that, didn't you? Happy crafting!

P.S. Have you ever read through our quote bank? Well, it's already brimming with great quotes for scrapbooking, card-making and more—and it' continually growing. We have a great selection of quotes on summertime activities—PLAY included. Check it out here!

A nice ocean breeze and some cool salty water sounds like a great break from this hot summer sun beating down on the Oh My Crafts warehouse. But instead, we'll just have to bask in the glory of a nice beach craft instead. Check out some of our favorite scrapbook pages and beach crafts!

This "cool" Cricut page was created with Going Places and Alphalicious:
