Giving hope to all of us

Last week we ran a contest for a Breast Cancer layout, card or design on our OMC Facebook fanpage. (oh, and if you're not a fan yet—you're totally missing out on great giveaways, product info and chats with professionals. Just sayin.') It's all in honor of our Thinkin' Pink at Oh My Crafts.

Well anyway—our winner, Anne-Marie, recieved the Pink Slice! Which actually, isn't even available over the internet—so she was REALLY lucky. *But have you seen the amazing Making Memories Think Pink paper? Sooo cute!*

Well anyway, we had to award two runners up as well because we were so touched by the amazing things you ladies do!

So with an introduction like that, we wouldn't want to keep you waiting any longer. Here's the winning project, and the two runners up:

Here's Anne-Marie's layout. Not only did we love the talent behind the layout, but we loved the over-all feeling of it. "Celebrate the everyday" is something we all can do.

Karel was one of our runners up. She told us that she sends these cards to women who have experienced or are currently experiencing breast cancer. To find out how to request one of these cards, you can visit her blog by clicking here.

Becky was another runner up. This layout says "May our loss give wings to hope," and it honors her mother-in-law who passed away from cancer in 2002. The dark leaves falling from the tree symbolize grief, but they transform into pink butterflies flying around a picture of 4 generations of women in her family—including her grandmother, who is a two-time breast cancer survivor.
