The shamrock, as legend tells is a lucky charm. These sparkling clovers hang from a chandelier and will brighten up any room for spring. Do you come from Irish ancestry? If so, all month long they will be a great reminder of where you came from! If not, then maybe a little bit of luck will come to you.
Invisible Thread
Green Garland: can be plant like, feathers or anything that drapes
Note: Any electronic die cutting machine can be used for this project.
1. Cut a 12x12 piece of stencil material and remove backing, leaving the sticky side exposed.
2. Cut a 12x24 sheet of green flake vinyl in half. Remove backing from one cut piece of vinyl and carefully position on top of exposed vinyl being careful to roll the vinyl on to the sticky side (rolling it onto the stencil helps to alleviate bubbles, then smooth out any bubbles). Repeat process with second piece of green flake vinyl. Both sides of the stencil material should now be covered.
3. Place vinyl/stencil material on cutting mat and prepare machine for cutting according to chart.
Cutting Chart:
Cartridge | Shape | Size | Qty | Blade Depth | Paper Setting | Speed | Pressure |
Holiday | Shamrock | 3.00 4.70 8.00 | 3 3 | 6 | Chipboard This will change to custom once the speed is changed | 3 | 6 |
4. Carefully remove each shamrock from cutting mat.
5. Place a small hole in the top of one of the shamrock leaves using a crop-a-dile. Be sure to punch hole a safe distance from the edge.
6. Tie invisible thread through hole and attach to chandelier.
7. Drape garland above shamrock. Enjoy!
I love it!
