Now that is not an easy question. I think for a birthday card for a girl I would have to have some ribbon, a couple Prima flowers and some of their crystal swirl bling. I would use the old jalopy and man with an umbrella from Tim Holtz with Distress Ink and Distress Stickles. Just a little. Sounds like fun. I am off to the craft room. OMC definitely motivates me to create! Okienurse

I'd probably buy My Minds Eye : HIP HOORAY - 12X12 GIRL PAPER & ACCESSORIES KIT to make a card for someone.. i seem to have more females than males to make stuff for so yea. Maybe i'd make a mini paper bag album i love making those. thanks for the chance to win.

Well I would definatly need some iRocks, because Imaginisce and it's tools just ROCK! I would need some Glue Arts adhesive. And I would top it all off with some lovely papers from Echo Park!
ReplyDeleteIf I could only choose 3 items to spruce it up, my card would have to have ribbon, stickles and bling for the final touches! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI would start my card using paper from the Bo Bunny : AD LIB COLLECTION PACK. I would then add embellishments using Bazzill Basics : TROPICAL FLOWERS - 1.75", American Crafts : Glitter Buttons : BRIGHTS, Bazzill Basics : Half the Edge : INTENSE KIWI, and use Pink By Design : TAKE THE CAKE SET to add the finishing touch.
ReplyDeleteI want to use the Sizzix Bigz XL Die Cube Twist 3D and the flowers from Bazzill Basics Wild Rose Pink and Snow. To make birthday gift.

I would make a gift of one of your metal plaques embellished with a phrase cut from vinyl with my Cricut as well as some ribbon flowers and gems.
ReplyDeleteEKSuccess : EK Tools : BIRTHDAY LARGE EDGER PUNCH. Those look adorable all around every edge of a card or layout for a framed scrapbook page.
ReplyDeleteWhat I would use to make a birthday gift or card. I would have to say Bazill paper with Martha Stewart punch, add a Cricut cartridge birthday phrase with some ribbon, and bling it up with some I-Rock gems. Now that sounds like a great project.
ReplyDeleteOh my, I guess my first thought for a birthday gift would be to pick out a fun, cheery color of vinyl from Oh My Crafts and throw in some transfer tape and make a personalized one of a kind gift!
ReplyDeleteI'd use a Martha Stewart punch around the page punch, IRocks, and some of the Stickles, with a Happy Birthday stamp! And of course, some great Brazzil paper, probably in pink for a little girl!
ReplyDeleteTo make a birthday card, I would use Bazzill papers, sizzix and Tim Holtz dies, I-rock bling, stickles, and Pink by design Birthday stamps.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, this is all going to depend on who it's going to, but I can almost promise you that my Cricut would be used no matter what. Glitter and bling is always good for my girls but if it's for one of the guys something very CAS with some neat embossing on it.
ReplyDeleteI rock is a for sure and Birthday bash cricut cartridge. Some pretty papers (i’m addicted to paper). I seem to fall into the never have enough paper. Thanks I love your site. I only shop at like 3 or 4 out of all the sites online and your in that group. I always tell my friends to check out your specials.
ReplyDeleteAs a gift to my grandmother, i am making a banner for her party. It will have pink, purple and yellow cardstock and pretty coordinating paper. Using my cricut, and Mothers Day Bouquet cartridge to cut out 6" flower shaped banner panels, with Storybook cartridge the words Happy 85th Birthday! And with From My Kitchen, i'll cut out a cupcake for each end of the banner. To put it together, I'll use my Glue Glider. I'll bling it up with Stickels and iRocks. Of course to assemble it, I'll need some yummy yellow ribbon!
ReplyDeleteI would use either doodlebug or imaginisce paper with my sweet treats cricut cartride. And maybe I would use my i rock or i top. And if i make a cupcake i am obviously using my cuttlebug embossing folders for the icing. And glossy accents.
ReplyDeletewell, lets see....hmmmm...I would have to use one of my new pearl pens that i recently purchased with some bling from my i-rock mixed in with the pearl dabs, a gorgeous edge punch, some Doodlebug ribbon, some gorgeous bazzill cardstock and some designer paper to make a pocket that would hold the Oh My Crafts gift card that would be included in it!!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to make a birthday card for someone special all from scratch. I'd use Bo Bunny : GABRIELLE COLLECTION PACK for great backdrops. Then I'd use Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads in Vintage Photo and Black Soot and Inkssentials INK BLENDING TOOL - APPLICATOR FOAM to do some beautiful edging over distressing I'd make with the We R Memory Keepers : HEART ATTACK DISTRESSING TOOL. I'd use Stampendous : Cling : JUMBO CLING BUTTERFLY PAIR
ReplyDeleteand Faber-Castell : STAMPER'S BIG BRUSH PEN in Violet and May Green. I'd also use scraps and peices from my own collections of ribbons and stock to finish it off. For the inside I think the Pink By Design : TAKE THE CAKE SET of stamps and find the perfect stamp for an inside quote! I'd also consider splattering it and the envelope with watered down Faber Castell gelatos to make it a matching set...I love all the colors of the gelatos but enjoy the metallic ones best as splatter for shine! I'd enjoy every moment of it!
first I would buy that great Big Shot and use an embossing folder.
ReplyDeleteThen I would use Tim Holtz distress ink and rub on his new suitcase die. Stamp with a sentiment and use some mist.
I'd use a cute embossed background using my Sizzix's Texture Boutique. I love the Doodlebug : Single Ribbon : BIRTHDAY GIRL ACCENT ORGANDY so I'd incorporate some of that and something cute cut out of my Cricut!
ReplyDeleteI love my Cricut Cartridges (Celebrations or Sweet Treats.)
ReplyDeleteThe new Sew Easy is fantastic and so easy to use!!! And of course I have to make it all sparkly with Stickles. I do have to control myself when making cards for boys..they tend NOT to like the sparkles as much as the little girls. :)
I would use some bazzill paper, some ribbon, awesome stickles, and some cute little flowers or cuttlebug die cut flower petals with the stickles on it!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, I would need Bling, Prima Flowers, And Pretty Flowerie (is that even a word?? LOL). I wouldn't stop at 3 items though, Thanks for the chance to win.....
ReplyDeleteThe things i would use to make a birthday card would be first my echo park paper or bazzill cuttlebug folder, cricut cartridge cutout, ribbon, stickles Prima flowers and My Pink Stamper sentiment. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteWell, I really like to surprise myself by just grabbing a few things off the shelf and seeing what comes of it. I would grab some Pearl Pens and see how they work. Then I would use EK Success Birthday Large Edger Punch (very cute, by the way.)After I pulled it all together with some Brazzil paper I would like to sit back and read the Card magazine July issue!

Well what I would use to make a Birthday Card is Elizabeth Craft Design peel offs. Using what I learnt from the UStream Video, glitter and colour one of the beautiful Butterfly designs, Bazzil paper and of course glitz things up some more with my IRock. Makes some pretty nice cards...
ReplyDeleteI would use some of Doodlebug products, like the Create-a-card,ribbon, and other embellishments. Then I would use one of My Pink Stamper's sets. Plus I'm sure I'd need some OMC vinyl for a special, personalized gift. Fun, fun!
ReplyDeletelet's see... first paper from Basic Grey, then add some bling with the iRock, then die cuts & embellishments from 7 gypsies! But what wouldn't I use? :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm not too late:-)
ReplyDeleteUsually a make the birthday card with cuttlebug "Birthday" embossing folder. I love it!
I make sentiment (Happy Birthday) with embossing powders, and distressed the paper's edge with inks from Tim Holtz. Embellishing with ribbons and iRocks. Sometimes with paper flowers (Cricut Mother's Day boquet cartridge).
iRocks, embossing folder(s), inks from OMC, of course!:-)
Only 3 things to add to my card would be..... cuttlebug embossing folder, Pink Stamper "Birthday Crazy Stamps", and Stickles of course!

ReplyDeleteI am obsessed with imaginisce right now so my cards all have Irock crystals on them along with prima flowers and "all kinds of happy" papers....Ohhh what fun!
ReplyDeleteI'd use some Brazill Cardstock and some mist or probably stickles. I'd use a punch or Quikutz/LC for the writing and maybe some Echo park to add some variety of color.
