I would love to make a special gift for my mother using these wonderful colored papers that express the joy of travel. The joy I saw in my mothers eyes as we traveled for two weeks together. My father died two yrs ago Dec and he was my mothers life for 65 and 1/2 yrs. he had Alzheimer's disease
. She was his only care giver until about two months before he passed away. Then last june she was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time. I promised her a trip of her choice when she was through all she faced. she had not traveled much in her life. We traveled by car so she could see some of the beautiful states. We went to Tenn.,and on to Florida. We enjoyed the ocean, NASA and of coarse Disney. 87 and still loved Mickey and Pooh. Then we drove to the Carolina's and visited the Builtmore before driving back to Ohio. Many times she thanked us for a trip of a life time and shed tears of joy. I'm so grateful for this time together.
I would love to give her a scrap book of our travels so she could look back on our time together and share it with others. God Bless!

  156. I LOVE BO BUNNY !!!! Esp their 'timeworn' papers (clocks, etc)!!!
It wouldn't be TOO hard for me to FIND an idea for all that paper since I have two BOYS who are college-aged and marriage-elligible (and already have given us two WONDERFUL young ladies for the future growth of our family) !! Think of it: backgrounds for photos of their lives onto boards for their weddings, sprucing up those books and make more books for any future Grandchildren....and even useful for my church groups to also share for the nursing home projects we do, and for Jr Church, J.A.M.,VBS, and all the other outreach things we do where we use crafts and papers. I even helped one of my new daughters-t0-be making up all kinds of paper items for a Hawiiian luau for her littler girl cousin. Sharing skills with the younger ones is SO FUN !! The possibilities are ENDLESS !!!

  165. The very first thing I thought of when I saw this paper was this old song ----Sign, Sign, everywhere a sign, blocking up the scenery, breakin my mind, do this don't do that can't you read the sign-----I love this paper, and envision a scrapbook or journal using the signs in the paper as the theme, with the swirls, cars and other elements in the paper as a way to give the book a retro travel feel. It would be something a pre-teen or teenage girl may use as a stash book. I would have loved to own a cool book like that when I was that age! Thanks Oh My Crafts for a chance to win.
