Instructions:
Trace the bee hive chipboard pages onto the chosen patterned cardstock papers. Cut out and adhere the paper to the chipboard. To get the pages to fit the edges perfectly, sand the edges with a nail file or similar tool.
For the cover of the album, find the honey comb chipboard page and punch all the honey comb pieces out. Using a pencil, trace the outline of the honey comb chipboard onto the your chosen patterned paper (make sure to trace both the hive and the holes). Cut out the patterned paper and use an X-ACTO knife to cut out the holes. Ink the edges of the patterned paper with distress ink. Mount the paper on the chipboard piece to provide sturdiness.
To embellish the cover, cut out the yellow flower cluster from the paper pack. Glue to the bottom left corner of the honeycomb paper. Cut and tie a small bow with the burlap trim and attach on top of the yellow flower cluster. Spray a Maya Road chipboard key with Tattered Angels, let dry, and adhere. Punch out a bee from the paper pack and adhere it to center of a bottle cap. Attach the bottle cap to the cover page. Glue small cluster of the Stampendous Glass Glitter in the center of flowers using the Martha Stewart Glitter Glue.
For the Life, Love Everything About This Page, ink the edges of paper that is attached to the chipboard piece. Cut a piece of burlap trim 6” and adhere to the left side of the page. Find the “Life, Love Everything About This” punch out section of the paper pack. Cut a piece of patterned paper with the ornate die and ink the edges with Jenni Bowlin paint dabber. Layer the burlap, the ornate die cut out, and the punch out. With a foam square add the “i am so lucky this is my life” punch out to the left side.
For the Noteworthy page, line the edges of the patterned paper with Glitter Glue. While wet, sprinkle the Glitter Glass into the glue. Cut out a piece of yellow paper with the Baroque die, and the script paper with the Accent die. Score down the center of the Accent cut out. Before you glue the edges shut, wrap twine around the top side, tying in a knot. Glue the edges of the Accent cut out to make a pocket. Take the Baroque die and cut off the round edges, to make it straight on the sides. Adhere the Baroque cut out, the Accent cut out, and any other embellishments.
For this page, line the edges of the hive with the Stickles Glitter Glue, and allow to dry. Cut out a baroque, accent and small baroque die cut in coordinating papers. Using a piece of kraft cardstock, cut two strips of the Binding Punch. Layer all pieces together. Find a saying tag in the paper pack and cut a small snip at the top in the center. Slide a brad into snip, then unfold the brad arms. Adhere to the page.
For the Everyday Moments page, cut a small baroque die cut and ink the edges with the archival ink pad. Pierce two holes in the side, run a piece of twine through them, and tie a bow. Layer a piece of 3" burlap trim under the baroque piece. Adhere other embellishments as you see fit.
For the Love This page you are first going to make a small card that will open. Cut a square of navy paper 3 ½" x 4". Cut a piece of kraft paper 3 ¾" x 6 ¼" and score down the center. Glue the kraft paper to the inside of the navy card. Embellish the inside of the card as you'd like. Glue a piece of yellow patterned paper to the front of the navy card. Adhere embellishments as wanted to the front of the card. Attach a piece of burlap to the bee hive page, then adhere the card on top. Using Glitter Glue, add Glass Glitter to the centers of the flowers.
For the Time page, cut out a Baroque cut and glue to the left side of page. Cut out an Accent, fold in half, and ink the edges. Glue edges together to make a pocket. Cut a triangle shaped piece of paper and punch the top with the binding punch. Staple the “time” tag to the top. Over the Baroque piece, adhere an 8” piece of burlap. Pleat the right edge of the ribbon and attach with a blue brad.
Happy crafting!
