To use the dies in a Lifestyle Crafts Epic 6:
- Grey cutting platform, die facing up, paper, cutting mat

To use the dies in a Lifestyle Crafts Revolution:

- place die facing up on platform, paper, cutting mat

To use dies in a Big Shot:

- using Multi-use platform with all the shims, place die and paper between 2 cutting mats

To use dies in a Cuttlebug:

- A platform, B plate, die facing up with paper, C plate

To use dies in a Wizard:

- platform, magnetic mat, die facing up with paper, cutting mat

To use dies in a Grand Calibur:

- platform, die facing up, paper, cutting mat

Whether its Elementary, High School or College graduation – the season of recognizing academic achievement is upon us. These cards can be made in quantity quickly. And, because they are hand made they mean so much more.

Graduation Card

1. Follow the cutting chart for each object to be cut.

2. Cut white circle from smooth cardstock. On inside of card, place a small line of glue around circle. Adhere circle to glue.
3. Once dry, place another line of glue around the inside edge of cut out circle on the front side and smear with finger. Sprinkle glitter over glue and tap off excess.
4. Cut out black circle from smooth side of cardstock.
5. Cut 3 caps from white vinyl and weed and pick centers out. Use transfer tape to lift design from liner paper and then burnish on to black circle.
6. Apply foam squares to back of circle and center over white circle with glitter.
7. Cut Class of out of white vinyl. Weed around design and then pick out centers. Use transfer tape to lift design and position below scalloped circle to the left. Burnish in place and remove transfer tape.
8. Cut 2011 from white vinyl. Weed, pick centers transfer to the bottom center of card.

1. Cut large Thank You from white vinyl. Weed, pick centers and transfer to center of card using transfer tape.
2. Cut small thank you from white vinyl. Enter 2 spaces after spelling out the word thank you. This will give the extra design space needed for phrase. Repeat 3 more times.
3. Weed, pick centers and use transfer tape to position phrase across the top of the card. Burnish
4. Cut 2 graduation caps – the smaller one for the front of the card which is placed near the “u” and “k”. The second cap is larger and is placed on the back flap of the envelope. Weed, pick centers, use transfer tape to move. Burnish 






 

 

Tip: It only takes a light pressure on the transfer tape to adhere vinyl to paper. Too much pressure might result in tearing of the paper when removing transfer tape.

Crate Paper : Toy Box Collection Kit (or Chipboard pack) and Sew Brads

Instructions:


Cover Page

 

1. Die cut cream cardstock for the front and back cover and lightly distress the edges with brown ink.  
2. Cut and adhere a strip of Jenni Bowlin’s Be Our Guest lined paper in the center on the front cover.  
3. Die cut “Dad’s” with Carousel die cuts and navy blue paper. Adhere to the center of the coupon.  
4. Cut “Coupon Book” with Cricut Cartridge Songbird and red vinyl, set at low pressure and size at ½”. Use Transfer Tape to adhere to the bottom of the book.  
5. Apply 7 Gypsies metal corners to top right and bottom left corner (along the scored line).  
6. Attach a brad in front of “D” from the Toy Box brad set.



Breakfast in Bed Coupon

 

1. Die cut coupon with Jenni Bowlin cherry paper.  
2. Cut a thin strip of blue and white paper from Jenni Bowlin and adhere to the center of the coupon.
 

Tip: The coupon die cuts have scores down the left side of them so you can tear off the coupon for use. When applying embellishments and paper, do not cover these scores.
 

3. With Spellbinders Classic Rectangles and cream paper, cut, emboss, and ink the edges of a small and medium sized rectangle. Adhere over the stripe with the small one on the left and the bigger rectangle on the right.  
4. Cut a cherry square out of the patterned paper and apply Glossy Accents over the entire square. Let dry and then adhere to small rectangle.



30 Minute Backrub Coupon

 

1. Die cut coupon page with Jenni Bowlin number paper. Make sure the numbers will be right side up.  
2. Die cut, emboss and ink a medium size Spellbinders rectangle.  
3. Apply “30” from Crate Paper’s Toy Box Collection Kit and write “min.” or “minutes” under the “0.”  
4. Cut a thin black strip of paper, and a 1”x3” rectangle of paper inked gray. Poke a hole on the left and right side of the inked paper and run the black strip of paper through the holes and adhere to page.  
5. Adhere the “30 min.” piece over the black strip.



Free Car Wash Coupon

 

1. Die cut coupon page with Jenni Bowlin striped paper.
2. Die cut, emboss and ink the edges of a medium size Spellbinders rectangle.
3. Attach a brad to upper left corner of rectangle.
4. Stick the car die cut from Toy Box Collection Kit in the lower right corner.




Walk the Dog Coupon

 

1. Die cut coupon page with black paper.  
2. Die cut and emboss a medium size Spellbinders rectangle and adhere to center of page.  
3. Apply the “dog” die cut from Toy Box Collection Kit on the left side.  
4. On a red ¾” strip, apply small and large Mark Richard’s mosaic stickers in a pattern. Ink the red strip with black ink and apply to the right side of the page.



1 Hour Yard Work Coupon

 

1. Die cut coupon page with Jenni Bowlin clock paper. Make sure the clocks are upright.  
2. Die cut, emboss and ink the edges of a larger Spellbinders rectangle.  
3. Apply “1” and three dots to the left of it from Toy Box Collection Kit.  
4. Under “1”, write “Hour”.



I Love You Coupon

 

1. Die cut coupon page with Jenni Bowlin striped paper.  
2. Die cut, emboss and ink the edges of a medium Spellbinders rectangle.  
3. Frame rectangle with red paper and adhere to center of page.  
4 .Apply small Mark Richards Mosaic stickers to top right and bottom left of rectangle.



Finish by helping your child write on the coupons and assembling it together with ribbons.

Chandelier Card

Supplies Used:

Doodlebug : Create-a-Card Rainbow Set - A2 Stripe Card and Envelope
Viva Décor : Pearl Pen - Chrome Silver and Light Green
Crate Paper : Portrait Collection - Sew Brads
Unity Stamp Company : Ohh La La - Chandelier and Black Ink
Elegant black and white patterned paper, smooth plain white paper and black paper
Inkssentials : Blending Foam Tool with Black and Brown Ink
Tulle - Black


Instructions:


1. On smooth white paper, stamp the chandelier with black ink and trim an oval around the entire image. Antique the white page by using Inkssentials Blending Foam with brown ink. Add accent dots with a Pearl Pen. Set aside to let dry.




2. Ink the blue Doodlebug card edges with black ink.

3. Adhere the chandelier to black paper. Cut the paper 4 ¼” x 3” and adhere the blue card.
4. Cut a black and white patterned paper to fit the bottom flap and using a craft knife, follow the arc that is cut on the blue card. If needed, antique the paper using the Blending Foam Tool. Adhere over the bottom flap.
5. Tie black tulle to the top of the card. With Pearl Pens, add light green dots to the tulle and let dry.



6. Add a brad over the knot of the tulle.

7. On the inside of the card, stamp “Ohh La La” with black ink on smooth white paper, trim and adhere to the card. If needed, antique with Blending Foam. Adhere a strip of black and white patterned paper on the top and bottom of the sentiment.
