Flamingo Toes & Oh My Crafts Vinyl

Sunday, January 8, 2012

We recently sent Beverly over at Flamingo Toes a package of Oh My Crafts Vinyl to try it out and give us a review. It was her first time using vinyl and her projects turned out amazing! We want to share with you what fun things she made.

Her first project was a "Be Merry & Bright" sign that she created for her mantel. She used a frame, some burlap for the backing, and Ruby Glitter Vinyl from OMC!

Her next project was something that everyone could do! She created a skin for her phone. Bev used some Turquoise Blue Vinyl for this project. Vinyl is great for decorating phones, computers, laptops, and more because it is repositionable and can be changed as often as you'd like!

Last but not least, Bev used Chalkboard Vinyl to create a frame for her daughter's room. What a great way to leave fun notes and reminders!

Thank you Beverly for reviewing our Vinyl and for the great project ideas! You can read her full post and see more project photos by Clicking HERE!

Katie's Nesting Spot & Oh My Crafts Vinyl

Thursday, January 5, 2012

Katie from Katie's Nesting Spot recently created some amazing projects using Oh My Crafts Vinyl and we wanted to share them with you to show you all the different things that you can create with vinyl.
Katie used Hot Pink and Lavender Vinyl to giver her NookColor a makeover. She liked the fact that Oh My Crafts Vinyl is repositionable and how if she didn't like the way it turned out she could change the color or look.

Another project she did was making labels for the glass containers in her bathroom. Katie used Chalkboard Vinyl so that she could write on the labels. Vinyl is a great alternative to glass etching and it is easier to see!

Katie also created some holiday decor with Oh My Crafts Vinyl.

Katie created this personalized ornament for her child with Grape Vinyl and a regular glass ornament. With a wide variety of colors choices, you have the ability to choose the right color of Vinyl to blend in with your holiday decor.

This shadow box is a perfect example of how Vinyl can add that extra pop. Katie used Lucky Green, Bubblegum, and Pacific Blue Vinyl to create the snowflakes and phrase for the outside of the glass. The colors matched fabulously with her photograph and background. You can even preposition your shapes on Transfer Tape before applying them to the surface so that you can get your vinyl just where you'd like it before it is placed.

We want to send a big THANK YOU to Katie for sharing such amazing Vinyl ideas!

Happy crafting!
