Instructions:
1. With solid colored cardstock, die cut Sizzix box.
2. Adhere Lush damask patterned paper to the left, back, and right sides of the box.
Tip: This project was done by cutting one long strip for covering the sides, instead of 3 separate pieces. This prevents white space from showing through when the box is assembled. Later when assembling the box, trim paper that might hang off edges.
3. Die cut and emboss Labels One (Spellbinders) out of crème cardstock using the medium sized label.
4. Die cut and emboss Labels One (Spellbinders) out of Lush patterned paper using the next size down label. Adhere to previously cut label.
5. Adhere labels to the front side of box (there should be no damask paper on this side).
6. Die cut and emboss Grommet Tag out of silver reflective paper.
7. With black ink, stamp “Chocolate” in the lower right corner, add embossing powder and heat emboss.
Tip: This project was done using Bazzill silver paper which bubbled up when heat was put on it to emboss. Later, we discovered that the Kanban silver paper does not bubble up and gives a cleaner appearance when heat is added. I would recommend using Kanban paper instead for this project.
8. On smooth crème cardstock stamp with black ink, “If I must die, let it be death by” and trim around the edges. Adhere to the top left corner of the silver tag. Adhere brads to the left and right sides of silver tag.
9. Assemble box and trim any excess damask paper.
Tip: Martha Steward Scoring Board is helpful for scoring and then folding straight edges.
10. Wrap box with tulle and tie a knot in front and trim short.
11. Hide the knot with silver tag by adhering tag to box with foam squares.
12. Lay tissue paper on the inside of box and fill with chocolates.
13. Tie box closed with tulle.
Happy crafting!
