Captain America Card

Supplies Used:

Xpress it:
Blending Cardstock
American Crafts: Specialty Foil Pack (use red and blue) Silver Pow paper
Bazzill: Black Cardstock
Tim Holtz: Americana Silhouettes Stamp set
Ranger Ink: Archival Ink – Vermillion and Cobalt
EK Success: 3-D Foam Circles 


Instructions:
1. Trim white cardstock to 7 x 10 inches, score in half.
2. Trim blue cardstock top block 2 x 4 and trim blue circle to 1 inch.
3. Trim red cardstock stripes 1/2 x 4 inches and two red circles - one 3 inches and the other one 1 1/2 inches.
4. Trim silver cardstock circle 2 1/2 inches and cut one star about 1 1/2 inches.
5. Trim a shadow for largest circle of black cardstock 3 1/16 inch – just barely bigger than red circle.
6. Layer blue rectangle on top of card barely leaving a little white space on the top and sides.
7. Layer red stripes below blue rectangle. Place red stripes first on both ends of blue rectangle and then evenly space the other stripes in between them.
8. Layer shield: black, red, silver, red, blue and last star. Adhere with foam dots.
9. Use red ink to ink top and bottom of stamp. Use blue ink-to-ink middle of stamp. Huff on stamp if dry and stamp image immediately.
10. Ink edges blue.
