Friendship Match Box
Created by OMC Designer Lindsey

Supplies Used:
Sizzix Match Box
Studio Calico : Mister Huey's Mask - Chevron
Studio Calico : Mister Huey's Color Mists - Overdue
Pebbles Inc. : Fresh Goods - Dimensional Butterflies
My Mind's Eye : Indie Chic - 6x6 Paper Pad
Martha Stewart Punches
Tim Holtz : Distress Ink Pad - Vintage Photo

Instructions:

1. Cut out the match box shape. Use the chevron mask and the Mister Huey's color mist to cover the outside of the match book. For the inside of the matchbook, cut a square 3¼" x 3" in the floral paper. Ink the edges with the distress ink pad.
2. Cut a strip of paper the length of the match box and 2” high. Fold in half, and punch the open edge with the paper punch. Using adhesive tape, attach the strip of paper to the inside of the right flap leaving the punched edge hanging out. Adhere a button to the opposite side with a Glue Dot.

3. Attach 2 butterflies to the front of the match box. Cut a long pendent strip and adhere along the outside of the match box and wrap around to the inside. Stamp a saying onto the pendent on the front of the match box.

4. Punch a circle shape, ink the edges and add a butterfly to the center of the circle. Adhere the circle to the middle of the inside of the match box.

Happy crafting!

oh this is so gorgeous! I would have never thought that layering on cards would look so expensive and not at all "handmade by a preschooler" which is what my home made cards usually end up looking like! I'm going to save this site!
