Spooky Banner

Supplies Used:
Doodlebug : Haunted Manor Paper Doodlebug Glitter : Limeade, Tangerine and Purple
Doodlebug : Doodle Twine - Black/White
Martha Stewart : Acrylic Craft Paint - Green Curry, Mace and Purple Martin
EKSuccess : Small Corner Rounder
Adhesive
Crop-a-Dile Tool Mod Podge
EKSuccess : Vampire Bat Large Punch
Martha Stewart : Scoring Board
EK Success : Large Circle Punch
Grunge Board


Instructions:
1. Cut 2 strips of paper for each rosette, and score every 1/2 inch. Fan fold back and forth. Glue ends together.
2. Punch out a circle to attach to the backs of the rosettes. This will hold the shape. Cut out paper squares and round the edges to cover the centers of the rosettes in front.

3. Cut the word "SPOOKY" out of grunge board and paint using the Martha Stewart paints. Cover with a coat of Mod Podge when dry. Cover the wet Mod Podge with glitter.

4. Punch holes in the sides of the rosettes and tie the rosettes together using twine. Punch a hole near the top of the first and last rosette. Thread twine through, and use to hang the banner.

5. Punch out 6 bat shapes. Take 2 shapes, and place twine between them before gluing them together. Make a total of three bats to hand below the banner. Tie the bats onto the twine between the 1st and 2nd rosette, the 3rd and 4th, and then the 5th and 6th.

Freedom Banner

Supplies Used:

Studio Calico : E-Flute Corrugated Cardstock - White, Kraft
American Crafts : Spark Tinsel - Rouge
Bazzill Basics : Dark Blue Dots Cardstock
BoBunny : 5/8 inch Polka Dot Ribbon - Red, Blue
American Crafts : DIY Thickers
Sizzix : Framelits Die Set 4PK - Stars, Primitive
Tombow Adhesive Glue
Tim Holtz : Distress Ink Pad - Vintage Photo

Instructions:
1. Using the largest Primitive Star Die, cut out however many stars you will need to spell whatever word you have chosen out of the kraft corrugated cardstock.
2. Trace the star you just cut onto the Bazzill cardstock.
3. Now cut around your tracing mark about ¼ of an inch larger.
4. Now trace this second star onto the white corrugated cardstock.
5. Again cut this 3rd star out ¼ in larger following the trace line.
6. Ink the edges of both corrugated stars with distress ink.
7. Adhere the blue stars to the white stars and then adhere the kraft colored stars on top of the blue stars.
8. Adhere the letters you need to spell the word you have chosen to each star.
9. Peel off the top layer of the DIY Thickers to expose the sticky surface and pour the Spark glitter over the top of each letter. Press down to get the Spark glitter to adhere to the letter. Turn over and tap off excess Spark glitter. You can use the excess to pour over your next letter.
10. Measure out how much Bo Bunny Polka Dot ribbon you will need to adhere your stars.
11. Adhere each star onto the ribbon using Tombow glue. Let dry completely!
12. Make bows with the complimentary color of ribbon you have chosen and glue in between every other letter. Let dry completely.
13. Display at your party!

Father's Day Banner

Supplies Used:
Authentique : Genuine Paper Kit

Tim Holtz : Distress Ink Pad - Stormy Skies, Walnut Stain
Making Memories : Bravissimo SemiFinished Medium Cream (3)
Tombow : Mono Multi Liquid Glue
Sizzix : eclips Cartridge - Basic Shapes
Ribbon
 

 Instructions:
1. Using the Authentique Paper Kit, cut out 12 ties and ink the edges with the Walnut Stain ink pad.

2. Take the Stormy Skies ink pad and with your finger lightly apply the ink to the Bravissimo ribbon.
3. Using the eclips, cut 3 circles 2.25” and ink the edges. Adhere the circles to the centers of the Bravissimo ribbons.

4. Cut the letters "DAD" out and adhere to the centers of the Bravissimo ribbons on top of the circles.

5. Arrange the ties how you want them to appear on the banner. Attach the pendants to the ties of your choice.

6. Flip over the ties and glue them to ribbon or string to hang.
