I am planning on going on a mission trip to Haiti and these eclectic and joyous papers catch the whole attitude of travel! I will be able to craft WONDERFUL Thank You cards for the people who help sponsor and make my mission trip successful. To be able to to craft something that expresses my gratitude to the friends and family here completes my purpose as a missionary and to do so with such great papers would be a joy!

CUTE paper!! I love the bright, cheery colors, and since I have been asked to make cards for our local hospital's gift shop, that's what I would use this paper for. This paper could definitely cheer someone up who isn't feeling well!!

And our winner of the 24 sheets of
Echo Park paper is... FAVORITE FAVORS!

These papers are so bright and colorful and happy!! They would be fantastic on a Mini Scrap book album for summer vacation photos and memories. The arrows for when we get lost driving, the rain drops for water fun and that wonderful yellow is great for journaling! Great collection

Winners, please send your shipping information to contest@ohmycrafts.com within 30 days to claim your prize.

Thanks for participating everyone and happy crafting!

PS - Don't forget that many great
Echo Park papers are only $.39 a sheet! These won't last long, so get them while you can!

USA Wood Shape

USA Wood Shape
Created by OMC Designer Jill
Supplies Used:
Wood Designs : USA (MDF)

Bo Bunny : Weekend Market Paper Pack
Teresa Collins : Fabrications Paper Pack
BoBunny : Double Dot Chiffon Paper
Tim Holtz : Distress Stain - Brushed Corduroy
Tim Holtz : Distress Ink Pad - Vintage Photo
7 Gypsies : Display Trim Corners - Antique Silver
Mod Podge

Instructions:
1. Trace each letter onto the paper of your choice and cut the paper shapes out.
2. Stain the sides and back of each letter with the distress stain.
3. Glue each piece of paper to its corresponding letter using Mod Podge and a foam paint brush. Press hard to make sure the paper adheres well. I like to use a brayer to really get it down well.
4. File the edges of the wood to take off any excess paper and to distress the edges.
5. Ink the edges using the distress ink pad.
6. Paint a coat of Mod Podge on the front and sides of the word and allow to dry. Make sure the first coat under the paper is dry before doing this to avoid bubbling the paper.
7. Embellish the USA with the display trim corners. You can ink over the top of the metal with the distress ink to make it look more vintage!
