******************THIS CONTEST IS CLOSED******************

What would you do with Hallowhimsy?? Hallowhimsy is a spooky scrapbooking kit by Imaginisce—filled with ghouls, goblins, and lots of other haunts. It contains 6 sets of 3 high quality paper (12x12), brads, and four stamps. It's great for whatever Halloween craft that you may embark in (which—believe it or not—it's almost time to get started on it!! October will be here in the blink of an eye).

Well we plan on giving Hallowhimsy to ONE of you. Our terms are simple, really. We want to know what you'll use it for! Maybe you're an avid scrapbooker, and you'd like to make a boo-tiful mini album documenting all the costumes that your family has worn over the years. Or perhaps you'd like to make some invitations that go bump-in-the-night for the annual spookfest you throw every year for your friends and family. Or, have you been thinking about adding some All-Hallows zip to the decorations you use to adorn your house? Oooh, and here's a good one—maybe you'd like to give your jack-o-lanterns a nice paper hat or paper bow tie. With Hallowhimsy, the options are endless.

So here's what you have to do:
Just leave us a comment right here on this post! Tell us what YOU—the creative crafter—would do with the Imaginisce Hallowhimsy set. You don't need to own a blog to leave a comment. And if you've never left a comment on a blog before, it's easy! (See below for some helpful instructions.)

Be sure to leave us your name too—so we can identify you! We'll randomly select one name Monday afternoon (so that gives you the whole weekend to think of something.) And we'll be picking the names from this comment list, so a comment on Facebook or by e-mail will not get you into the drawing.

Here's a few cute ideas that can be found on the Imaginisce web site:

Good luck crafters,

Need help on commenting??
• First, you'll find a link to our comment box at the bottom of this post. Click on "comments".

• To comment, you can set up a Google account if you do not already have one. All you need is an existing e-mail address. You'll find a link to help you set one up. The picture below will help you locate it.

Since Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday, for the first couple of days I would just sit in awe. Staring at them with the wheels spinning in my head, trying to figure out which project to start first. I am not even sure what I would do with them, until they were all out in front of me, and then I would be crazy full of ideas.

Scrapbook pages, cards, decorations... oh my!

But ohhhhhhh, Halloween!!

My grandchildren live clear across the country from me and I don't get to see them very often!:( I like to send them lots of scrapped pictures and videos to keep in touch with them and so they can get an idea of who their "gamma" and "maw-maw" is. I've been saving pictures of them in their Halloween costumes and when they turned 5, I planned to put them together in a little scrapbook for each of them to have. These papers would make a PERFECT backdrop for these albums. I'm relatively new to scrapping and I love it, but I don't have ANY Halloween-themed accessories! With these, I might even be able to make them a fun little Halloween keepsake! I know that whoever wins this contest will enjoy the papers. I certainly would love it if it were me!
Thanks for all you do for us scrappers!

I would use it to make cards and small boxes for treats for my neighbors and that's just the beginning! We "Ghost" each other in our neighborhood. That's where we give treats to a neighbor anonymously during the month of October. I always try to outdo whatever I did the year before. With my new Cricut Expression, Big Shot and Bind It All...I'm going to thrill the kids this Halloween...and the parents too! Then they'll all want to know what I used and where I got it! This kit would be perfect!

This is easy, and a bit out-of-the-ordinary.

My very best friend in the world simply LOVESLOVESLOVES Halloween more than any other holiday. If I won, I would send everything to her as a nice surprise as she recently lost her father and has been going through a bit of a rough stretch lately. I love being able to provide small bits of joy for her and this would be perfect & perfectly unexpected.

Halloween isn't such a massive thing in England as it is in America, but I'd try and change that! It falls just after my birthday and this year, soon after I've moved into my first proper home (well, small flat really!). So I'd use the kit to make invitations and decorate the flat for a combined house warming/birthday/halloween super party :) Oh, and if there was any paper left after all that, I'd make a scrapbook page to remember it by!

Anonymous said...

Different bits would go to different projects...there's whole lotta' Halloween going on in my scrapping-
Working on finishing the album for my friends son who turn's 17 this Halloween, then there's my "kids" who are two black cats and get anything black cat related for their books, and if there is anything left... two friends and I are hosting a huge Halloween bash this year - and all the scraps will go great with the plaster fingers we're mailing out as invitations.
Cheers!

This will be my daughter's first Halloween (she was born in January) and my husband and I are HUGE Halloween fans. We'd like to add to the decor we had last year (we had just moved into our townhouse a few weeks before Halloween and there was little in the way of decorations on our street - we could hear kids walking by saying, "Hey! there's a haunted house over there!"). We'd like to really become the talk of the street this year and go bigger and better.

Then, we'd like to document it all in our little girl's scrapbook as she will only have one first experience of Halloween :)

When my husband was a child his entire family, including cousins and grandparents, would have a Halloween party, complete with costumes, games, and treats. A few years ago we started the tradition back up and have hosted some great costumes and games. I have been 'meaning to' get these great memories into a scrapbook but just haven't found the perfect papers yet, until now! This would definitely put me on the road to doing that and making the matching invitations! Maybe I could even get some of the old pictures from the original parties to contrast with the current parties! Thanx!!!!

I am starting a Halloween album so that I can set it out every year as part of my holiday decorations and look back at past costumes and festivities! My son is not yet 2 years old, and it will be great to look at the book with him over the years as he grows (and any other kids that we have in the future!) This pack will be great to use for my Halloween Album.

I love Halloween and the fact that we have A LOT of fall birthday's in the family, would make this a natural fit for my albums. With immediate family member birthdays on Oct 16, 21, 25, 26, 30, Nov 2, 11, 15 this would be great. My nephew always has a costurme themed birthday party (born on the 30th) so these would make additions to birthday layouts. I also love to scrapbook with my family my mom, sisters and I get together every month and we love to share supplies. I am sure my sis would love to use the stamps for the birthday invites. I can't wait, my daughter will almost be 4 and this will be my son's first Halloween (bought the costume for him before he was even born, and he was born in Feb) and he will make an adorable little penguin! I know whether I get this set or not, my Halloween scrapping will be fun!

This would be AWESOME!! I also have a scrapbook JUST for our Halloween Hooplah and would use is for that! I CAN'T WAIT!! (lol...now you actually have me WANTING summer to end! haha)

At my hubby's company, their dept holds a halloween party and trick or treat in their office for their kids every year. They are very family oriented and they love kids! Each employee prepares a goody bag to give to kids during trick or treat. Then they chip in and hire a magician and buy food, prizes and giveaways for around 200 children. If I win, I will use Hallowhimsy to decorate my hubby's table and our candy bag! I can also create a special prize for one of the contests - like a halloween notepad and pen! It'll surely make things more fun! :)
