Don't Forget Dad!

Father's Day will be here before we know it so don't forget the Dad(s) in your life.  You can find everything you need for your projects at OMC, and just you need a little inspiration about what to for that special guy we'll provide some great ideas to get those gifts finished.  Check these out for starters:

Dad, You've Steeled My Heart Card

Instructions:

Create a card out of cardstock. Trim patterned paper to size and adhere to card front. Emboss a strip of cardstock with the Sizzix Paisley embossing folder and mat with a strip of complementary-colored cardstock. Wrap with a ribbon and adhere to card. Die-cut Sizzix Heart out of decorative foil and adhere to card with foam dots. Print sentiments, trim to size and adhere to card.

Dad, You Rock Card

Instructions:

1. Cut one 5 ½" x 8 ½" block of red cardstock. Fold in half to create card base.

2. Create stamps. Using Stamping cartridge, Deep Cut Blade & Housing, and stamp material, select Blackout feature, press Shift, and cut one 1" . Using stamp material, cut one 1 ½" . Using stamp material, press Shift and cut one 1" . Mount cuts on stamping blocks.

3.Use black ink and star stamp on card front. Use black ink on card edges. Let dry.

4. Cut star frame. Using green patterned paper, cut one 3" . Use teal ink on edges. Repeat cut using Shadow feature and teal cardstock. Cut a piece of red cardstock to fit behind star opening. Cut a piece of blue patterned paper to fit behind window. Draw or doodle around edges of star frame. Tear strips of spiral notebook paper. Layer and adhere frame to card as shown.

5. Cut guitar. Using yellow cardstock, select Shadow feature, pressShift, and cut one 1" . Use guitar stamp and black ink on guitar. Adhere to card as shown.

6.Cut you rock. Using yellow cardstock, select Shadow feature and cut one 1 ½" . Use black ink and you rock stamp on phrase. Adhere to card as shown.

Embossed Daddy's Girls Card

Instructions:

Create a card out of white-core colored cardstock. Use an embossing folder to emboss a design on the front of the card. Lightly sand the design to highlight. Adhere photo to the card. Emboss shapes onto a variety of white-core colored cardstock. Lightly sand to highlight. Trim around shapes and adhere to the card. Embellish with printed sentiment.
