Supplies Used:
Fall themed Scrapbook Paper
Corrugated/Fluted Cardboard Paper
Kraft Paper 
Tim Holtz Distress Ink: Rusty Hinge
Colored Misting Spray : Orange Hues
Leaf Shaped Punch or SVG Cut
Deep Edge Punch or Edge Die
Brads 
Instructions:
1. Ink the edges of the paper with Tim Holtz Distress Ink.  

2. Use scrap paper to punch or cut out the leaves to use for misting to create the leaf silhouette shapes on the page.  

3. Once the leaves are cut out, lay them out on the page where you want the image to be. Take the mist and spray over the leaves. Leave in place for 2 min. This will allow dry time, after the two min, take the leaves off, this will give the image outline on the page. 

4. Using the large leaf punch, punch 4 leaves in contrasting/coordinating paper. 

5. Cut 3 squares one in brown corrugated cardboard, one in kraft corrugated cardboard and the last one in Artisan paper. These will be what you mount your pictures on. Cut according to size of picture.

5. Tear strips of the artisan paper to layer on the corrugated cardboard. 

6. Use the Deep Edge Punch or Edge Die to create a decorative strip, ink and attach with two brads.

Halloween Goodies and Treats!

Halloween is only ONE DAY away! Are you ready for the tricks and treats and all the festive fun?! Well, in case you aren't, here are some last minute project ideas to start the holiday out right!

First we have a spooky Halloween Layout! This layout has all the right elements to preserve your spook-tacular memories!

Next we have some terror-rific Halloween Boxes (complete with wiggly bats!). Can you imagine the delicious Halloween treats that could be put inside these boxes?



Last but not least, we have some scare-tastic Halloween Pockets! These pockets are great for all sorts of Halloween gifts and invitations.

Fall Family Layout

Instructions:
1. Cut a shape out of patterned paper using the ornate die. Ink the edges with the distress ink pad. Glue the shape in the bottom right corner of your layout page.
2. Using the sticker phrase strips from the paper pack, mount some of the phrases onto coordinating paper. Glue along the left side of the page.
3. Cut a piece of cardstock with the LifeStyle Scallop Square Punches Die. Cut the sides off to make it into a pendant shape, but leave the top with a scalloped edge. Stamp the letters for "family" onto the pendant pieces. Using glue dots, adhere the pendant pieces to the twine. Using foam squares, attach the pendant banner to the page. Add brads to the either end of the banner and tie twine around the brad base.
4. Cut a strip of paper 3" x 10" paper and use the Round Binding Edge Edger Punch to punch the edges. Then cut another strip 2" x 10" and use the Open Scallop Edger Punch on the edges. Layer the two strips together and staple to the bottom of the page.
5. Cut out picture mounts and adhere the photographs onto the mounts. Ink the edges of all the pictures. Mount the pictures on top of the strips of punched paper.
6. Add any other coordinating embellishments and tags.

My Mind's Eye : Flower Embellishment

Instructions:
1. Take the yellow graph paper to use as your layout page. Cut a small strip of green print and mount it along the right side of the page. Cut a piece of the pink floral print, ink the edges with pink ink, and mount on the right side of the layout page, but to the left of the green strip leaving a small gap between the two strips.
2. Cut a picture mount 7" x 7" and ink the edges with the Pale Ochre ink. Cut out a scallop circle in the small flower print, and the ornamental shape in the pink graph print. Ink the edges of both shapes. Layer all three picture mounts.
3. To create the ice cream cone, cut a cone shape out of green cardstock. Next, cut or punch an oval shape, and use the Bumpy Road punch to punch along one side to create an edge. Attach the two pieces together and adhere to the layout page.
4. Cut out a tag shape and ink the edges. Stamp a saying in black ink onto the tag, add embellishments, and adhere to the layout page on top of the pink floral print strip.

Instructions:
1. Cut a picture mount 6 ½" x 4 ¼" and ink the edges. Cut 4 corners to cover the picture mount corners. Adhere to the top left corner of the layout.
2. Cut a smaller picture mount 3" x 3½", ink the edges, and adhere it onto the bottom right of the layout.
3. Cut 2 circles, one 5" circle in the green polka dot print, and the other a 4 ½” in the yellow stripe print. Ink the edges of both, and mount the smaller circle on the bigger one. Mount the circles to the bottom middle of the layout, slightly overlapping the corners of the picture mounts.
4. Cut 4 banner pieces and ink the edges. Stamp “grad” on them, one letter per banner piece. Mount the banner pieces with foam squares. Using a Tombow marker write “CONGRATS” above the banner pieces. String a piece of twine behind the banner pieces, tie bows on each end, and add the crystals dots.
5. Cut five strips of paper, ink the edges, and adhere them to the left of the circles. Use these strips for journaling!

Instructions:
1. Cut the first picture mount, 5" x 8" and ink the edges. Emboss with your choice of an embossing folder.
2. Cut a second picture mount 2 ½" x 4". Use glue to outline the edges and cover in the Spark tinsel.
3. Cut out the Spellbinders tag and ink the edges with the distress ink pad.
4. Cut 2 strips of paper the width of your layout page and ink the edges.
5. Cut or punch a 1” circle and glue a flower embellishment to the center. Add a button to the center of the flower.
6. Adhere your photo mounts to your layout page and attach your photos. Add your flower embellishment.
7. Add the phrase "Paris" and use an Eiffel Tower repeat for the "i" in Paris.
8. Cut strips for journaling and adhere to the layout page.
9. Add buttons and pins as accents as needed.

Instructions:
1. Ink the edges of your background page.
2. Cut two 4" circles and ink the edges.
3. Cut six 1" circles in contrasting colored paper. Ink the edges. Layer onto the large circles.
4. Cut a picture mount 5" x 5 ¾" and ink the edges.
5. Punch out an edge punch and attach to the left side of the picture mount.
6. Paint one of the Maya Road picture frames and ink the edges.
7. Mount the circles, picture mount, and chipboard frames to the center of the layout.
8. Attach brads to the layout.
9. Cut out banner pendants shapes. Ink the sticker letters you want to use and place them over the pendants. Attach the banner to the layout.
10. Attach a picture to the picture mount.

Directions:
1. Select a paper from the Picadilly Collection Pack and ink the edge of the page with the distress inks. Cut out coordinating papers to fit the size of the desired pictures you'd like to mount on your page.  Attach the pictures to the paper mounts, then attach them to the layout page. Don't be afraid to layer the pictures!

2. Cut out the word "LUCKY" and ink the edges of the letters.  Add foam squares behind the letters to get them to stand out and attach to the page on top of the bottom edges of your pictures.

3. Cut a 5 1/2" strip of twine. Cut out six triangles and stamp "In Love", one letter on each triangle. Glue the triangle pieces to the twine to create a banner. Attach the banner over the the "k" and "y".

4. Punch a strip of paper using the punch. Cut another strip of paper for underneath the punched paper, and use scissors to cut little snips in the bottom to create a frayed look. Use a skinny paint brush to wrap the paper around and make it curl.

Instructions:
1. Select a piece of patterned paper from the Picadilly collection to be the base of your layout page and ink the edges with the Walnut Stain ink pad. Cut a strip of patterned paper 3" x 12" and ink the edges. Using the Flourish Square punch, punch out an accent in the top of the 3" x 12" strip. Ink the edges of the cut out. Adhere the strip to the left side of the paper.  
2. Cut out letters for name using the eclips cartridge and another patterned page from the Picadilly collection (for this project we used the name "Elizabeth"). Ink the edges. The papers are busy, but the focus of the layout isn’t the name or the heading. Once all the letters are inked, adhere them to the top of the paper.
3. Cut out a 5" x 7" piece of paper and ink edges. Using different patterned paper, cut out three labels using the Tim Holtz die. Ink all of the edges. Adhere the cutouts to the layout with the 5" x 7" piece in the center and the three labels to the right.
4. Use the Sew Ribbon Shoelace tool to cut the pattern out along the botton. Lace the orange ribbon through the holes.  
5. Adhere a picture to the 5" x 7" piece of paper.  
6. Add embellishments such as Prima flowers, buttons, etc.
7. Add glossy accents over the letters of the name and lay flat to dry.

Instructions:
1. Ink the edges of the 12" x 12" patterned background paper with the Walnut Stain and Crushed Olive distress inks.
2. Cut the poinsettia paper 9" x 9", ink the edges with the walnut stain, and mount on a sheet of tan cardstock size 9.5" x 9.5". Ink the edges of the tan cardstock sheet with the Walnut Stain and the Crushed Olive distress inks. Take another sheet of paper from the collection pack and cut it to 10" x 10". Using the EKSuccess Zig Zag punch, punch the edges of the paper. Glue the tan cardstock and poinsettia paper to the Zig Zag edge paper. Attach all sheets of paper to the background paper.
3. Cut and emboss the Holly and Berries Bigz die, rub the embossed area with the Crushed Olive distress ink and the Chili Powder Paint Dabber. Attach to the bottom right hand corner of your layout.

4. Mount the "Christmas" sticker onto piece of patterned paper, cut the paper to size, and ink the edges with the Chili Powder paint dabber. Attach below the Holly and Berries.

Instructions:

1. Cut a mat of brown cardstock 9" x 6". Also cut a pale green paper 8¾" x 5¾"  and a pale blue checker paper 8½" x 5½". Layer the three papers and glue together to create your photo mat.
2. Cut a strip of the pale green paper 9” x 2" and use the Martha Stewart punch on one of the 9" sides. Glue the paper  under left side of photo mat with the punched side exposed.
3. Cut a square of the pale green paper 3" x 3", punch the right side, and glue down under photo mat on bottom right side.
4. Attach the sail boat and bottle stickers to brown cardstock and cut them out leaving a small border of brown around the edges. Attach the sail boat and bottle to the bottom corner of the picture mat.



5. Using the Lifestyle Crafts alphabet cutting dies, cut “Baby Boy” out in white cardstock. Ink the edges using the Tim Holtz ink pad. Attach the letters to the right side of the photo mat above the 3" x 3" pale green square.



TIP: When doing baby layouts, simple is sometimes better!
