Today at Oh My Crafts we are featuring Jenni Bowlin!

Jenni Bowlin, along with her husband, Jared, founded Jenni Bowlin Studios in 2007. Jenni had been scrapbooking for over ten years and had always been drawn to antique treasures with stories to tell. She creates products that reflect her love of old things with a modern twist. The result is a product line she calls "Fresh Vintage," a unique and fun style, perfect for paper crafters everywhere.

Her lines include patterned paper, vintage style labels, old timey buttons, and other re-inventions of flea market finds that manifest themselves in embellishments that harken back to days gone by.

Check out this adorable layout with instructions!

Supply List:

- 1 sheet of “Hers” Jenni Bowlin Studio “Be Our Guest” Pattern Paper
- 1 sheet from the Core Impressions “Everyday” Jenni Bowlin Studio Paper Pad
- 1 Jenni Bowlin Studio Clock Face Rub-On Single
- 1 Jenni Bowlin Studio “Open” Hodge Podge Book
- 1 Jenni Bowlin Studio Date Flag Banner Sticker Sheet
- 1 Jenni Bowlin Studio Receipt Acrylic Stamp
- 1 package of Jenni Bowlin Studio Garnet Charm Embellishments
- 1 Jenni Bowlin Studio for Ranger Chili Powder Dye Ink Pad
- 1 Jenni Bowlin Studio for Ranger Malted Milk Dye Ink Pad
- 1 Jenni Bowlin Studio Cream Vintage Style Button
- 1 Jenni Bowlin Studio Red Pearl Button
- 1 yard of black ribbon (seam binding works well)
- 1 piece of vellum

How To:

1. Trim Clock Face Rub-On in half using a sharp craft knife and ruler (the pressure of a paper trimmer will force the rub-on onto its backing and may cause damage).
2. Add both pieces of rub-on to vellum and trim being sure to rub ever spot before lifting. Set aside. (TIP- pull off backing very slowly on rub-on to avoid losing any of the detailed pieces).
3. Stamp receipt image onto a scrap piece of white cardstock using the Chili Powder Ink and trim. Let dry completely (about 3 minutes). Using a blending tool, add some of the Malted Milk Dye Ink around the edges, blending towards the center to create a subtle aged effect. Set aside.
4. Trim a piece of the ruler embossed Coredinations Cardstock to 1 ¼” x 3”. Sand to expose inner color and wipe off the dust. Set aside.
5. Trim two 4 ½ “thin pieces of edging from a scrap piece of red cardstock using pinking shears.
6. Assemble inside collage as shown using pieces from steps 1 – 5.
7. Add a photo behind the album page included in the Hodge Podge Book kit. Add a piece of the “Hers” pattern paper to cover the back (stripe side).
8. Embellish the album page using the date banner stickers, buttons, a typed text piece and black rhinestones.
9. Lay album page as shown over collaged area and punch holes through the pattern paper where the holes are in the album page and then another set just outside of those.
10. Tie album page to layout using black ribbon.
11. Finish by sewing on a garnet pearl charm to each bow.
