Who'd like to win an adorable graduation layout and some fun embellishments? Well here's your chance!

For this contest, we want to hear your graduation stories - did something funny happen? What is the one thing you remember best? What made it unique for you? This can be a story about yourself or your children, but please, no distant relatives :)

Please leave us a comment along with your name on this blog post for a chance to win. One random winner will be chosen to receive this fabulous graduation layout created by OMC designer Lindsey as well as some fun embellishments! The winner will be announced on Monday, May 23th.

Here's a little about the layout:

This background for the layout is a double-sided page from the new K&Company Abrianna Collection Paper Pad. The stamps are from 7gypsies and Teresa Collins, and the velvet lettering at the top is from Tattered Angels!

There are lots of great embellishments on this layout for you to enjoy. The adorable paper flowers were made out of the Imaginisce Love & Cherish Collection pack. The little star embellishments are Basic Grey Small Details Decorative Stickers. There are also baubles, brads, and tiny paper clips!

The layout includes two paper backdrops perfect for graduation pictures or journaling!

Don't forget to leave a comment and good luck!

Great layout page! Nothing funny or exciting but here is my story. Wow, after 4 1/2 yrs of college for my son, we were disappointed on his graduation day (Dec '10). We know how hard he had worked to get his BA and two GIS certificates. Well, we were sitting, waiting for the ceremony to start. As we scanned the graduation booklet, we noticed that they COMPLETELY OMITTED the Geography department graduates. There were 15 students who I am sure had very disappointed parents. Oh, well, he got his diploma and certificates and we CELEBRATED !

Well my graduation story is short and simple. I'm 43yrs old and I recently graduated from college. I'm the first in my family to do so. I was able to share this day with my hubby and my 4yr old son. Although the rest of my family wasn't able to make it, they watch it live on the internet.

Terrific layout. Thanks for sharing and the chance to win. My funny story is actually about my daughter. When she graduated from college, we took lots of photos (of course) with our big fancy multi lense real film camera. Shortly thereafter, we took a vacation to Lake Placid and, lo and behold, forgot to advance the film. My daughter in her cap and gown, is now standing in the middle of Mirror Lake. Actually pretty cool photo. I am a follower. patnbobcuddy at gmail dot com

I received my degree 2 weeks ago at the age of 45. I did it while raising a family and going back full time after being laid off from a part time job. While doing this I was on the deans list every semester and was a member of Phi Thetta Kappa. I am now a very proud mom who has a college degree. While going back this last year my youngest daughter has been struggling in high school. She finally managed to bring all her grades up and as I was telling her I was proud of her she said "mom I'm proud of you too!" We did a high 5 to each other.

Not too funny, but when our daughter graduated from Law School, we looked for her name in theprogram and couldn't find it! We forgot that since she was recently married, and was listed under her married name!

My dad was made redundant in his late 40's and after job hunting for some time and being told again and again he was over qualified, he decided to go back to uni to occupy his mind. Not only did he partake in the making of a Smarties advert (the one years ago where there was a roller coaster and they went through the tubes etc) but he finished his 3 year course in 2 years and got his diploma in his 50's!!!!!! I couldn't have been more proud. Strangely though, he got a job back in medicine, where he had worked before, and his new qualification in IT had nothing to do with it!!!

Well done Dad! xxx

My college graduation was special in that not only myself, but my mother graduated too! We did it together, and I was so proud of her :)

I am sooooo excited!!! I have 3 sons, (18, 16, 14 & a daughter that is 10.) I can't wait for Kyle to stand tall and pave the way to show his siblings that you can accomplish anything that you set your mind to. He will be graduating on June 3, 2011. He has close to a 4.0 g.p.a. and I am really impressed that he has set his goals high and is already accepted and ready to start college in July; not much of a break-but I know he will do GREAT! So, of course, we have not made any stories of the past, but we hope this story will continue to be a GREAT one and his college experience will be a good one for him as well.

I love the layout page it's great.

Well my 18th birthday happened to be 2 days apart from graudation of HS ( several years ago).
My parents decieded that we would just have 1 huge party for both the birthday and the graduation since there would be alot of people and the need for ice. My parents bought a small swimming pool - you know those that are for babies. We filled it full of ice. Well my friends thought that I should be dunked into it by the end of the night. So nice dress and all I wound up in the pool. They thought it was funny - here an 18 year old in the baby pool. It was cold. Oh well that was one fun memory.

Last weekend my son graduated from HS. It took my mother in law and I 1.5 hours just to get into the stadium to park!! we live 10 min from the stadium so we were not too happy. My mother in law said she would pay my daughter an extra $100 next year if she could skip her graduation!!

Great page! I don't remember to much from my gradation. I remember we had perfect temperatures but it was windy. I also remember keeping our ice cream cake cut and going out.
I remember more from my sister's graduation as that was where I met my husband.

Don't remember too much about my HS grad day. Must not have been overly eventful...lol. I do remember having to wear this hideous yellowish gold gown that didn't look good on anyone. Honestly I was mostly happy to just be done with HS...hated it!

Graduation Day I was busy preparing for the after party and was running late. It was time to go so I ran into the bedroom grabbed my shoes and ran out the door. When we got to the stadium I started to put on my shoes and realized I had grabbed two right shoes, both sandals both beige. Needless to say I awkwardly walked into the stadium wearing two right shoes.
