DIANNE LEE!
Hi! I’m Dianne Lee from Malaysia, but I came to the US in January 2009
to study at Drake University, Iowa. I’m currently a senior and my
major is Actuarial Science. Where I come from, there are no scrapbook
stores and it was not a huge thing at all. Hence, I was first exposed
to the scrapbooking world when I came over here. It all started
because I decided one day that I wanted to put together a scrapbook
for my boyfriend’s birthday. I find it funny that until today, I have
yet to finish that album but I have completed a lot of other projects!
Being in college, I am always busy with school and extra-curricular
activities but I try to craft whenever I have the time. I also find
myself addicted to Youtube videos related to crafts and of course,
shopping at OMC!
1. What do you craft? Cardmaker, scrapbooker, etc.

I’m into almost everything! I love making cards, mini-albums and alter
frames or other trinkets as gifts for my friends and family. I also
art journal and make layouts, which oddly, I find it most challenging!
Recently I purchased the “Handmade” magazines (I highly recommend
them!) at OMC and it gave me so much ideas! I always love trying out
new things!
2. Favorite technique or tool you use?
I love to distress everything with my Tim Holtz Distress Inks! I also
recently got a Sizzix BigKick for my birthday and I can’t imagine
myself without it.
3. How long have you been crafting?
I started crafting about a year ago, and I am loving it!
4. How long have you been an OMC customer?
I have only been an OMC customer for almost two months but I had made
4 orders! I first found them at their ebay store. I wish I would have
found them earlier because I could have saved so much.
5. What are your favorite products you can find at OMC?
My favorite products are the Cuttlebug and Sizzix items, since I’m
starting to grow my collection. Sometimes, I find some of the items
even cheaper that the SizzixOutlet store. I also love the Handmade
magazines which I mentioned above.
6. What is your favorite thing about OMC?
I love the great customer service and how people-oriented they are. I
had issues with a Sizzix die and it was taken care of almost
instantly. In addition, I also love the selection and low prices!
7. Favorite quote or phrase?
Write your hurts in the sand, carve your benefits in stone.
