I think the crepe paper was the most unusual- only because I have not seen it in years/ decades-! Beautiful projects all.
I love the use of the tissue paper....would make great flowers for parties of all kinds!!!
I would have to say that I feel the most unique material used in todays hop was recycled sweater. Love those fringed trees! So cute!

I think the foam stamps created by Julie Fei-Fen Balzer were the most creative and unusual use of the die. I have the Tim Holtz' machine and I think it would use this die. Otherwise, please give it to someone else!
I think the most unique material used in the blog hop today was the recycled wool felted sweaters to make the Christmas trees. Loved the hop...thanks for the inspiration.

I loved all of them, but I was most excited to see the recycled sweater christmas trees!!I recently made a similar tree using paper and I had to cut each strip and fringe it myself. I loved all the great ideas but my favorite was the recycled sweater christmas trees. I recently made a tree using paper but I had to cut each strip and fringe it myself. recycled sweaters were the most unique both in material and in the use of the die! ... but my favorite use {of all these really wonderful and creative ideas} was the smooch spritzed organza flowers. They were just so pretty!

I would love to win this fabulous die. I think one of the most unique materials is the sweater. Although I also loved the flower made from coffee filters. I have used them before in art projects and they are a wonderful material. Especially nice to spritz color and stamp with bleach! Thanks for the opportunity to win.
I've wanted this die since it first came out and now I want it even more.I've bookmarked Eileen's page with the links to all the awesome creations.Dawned on me while looking at the mesh example,this will be a quick and easy way to make scrubbies for the bath!

I thought the tulle was the most unique. I found it at http://clearsnap.blogspot.com/
The most unique was the different shades of recycled sweaters -fringed to make the trees, and the cereal box cardboard to make the cones that acted as the base for those trees.
Oooh, what fabulous projects. All of them were gorgeous. The one that stood out the most for me was Stefanie's felt sweater tree. How innovative! I have loads of wool sweaters that I no longer use and will definately give this a try.

Although all of the projects were amazingly creative, I thought the mesh material was the most unusual material used. The resulting flower was stunning!
