Snowflake Pillow Box

Supplies Used:

Distress Ink: Stormy Sky, Broken China, Faded Jeans 
Distress Stain: Broken China, Picket Fence 
Sizzix Bigz Die: Pillow Box 
Doodlebug: Grey Twine 
Tim Holtz: On the Edge Snowflakes

Instructions:

 

Cut Sizzix Pillow Box in White Cardstock 

1. Push Broken China and Picket Fence Distress Stain Down on a clean, stain proof surface. Spray Tattered Angels onto the pillow box, turn box over and rub the distress stain all over the outside of the box, repeat process till the whole box is covered. 



2. Cut two strips of Navy cardstock ( 1 ½ x 10) using the snow flake On The Edge punch, punch 2 lenghts of a 12x12. Take the snow flakes that came from punching the paper, place them on the two strips that were cut. Spray the Tattered Angles over the strip. The snow flakes will leave a image of them on the strips once the strip is dry. Remove snow flakes once dry. Wrap the strips around the box to create a belly band. 

3. Punch 2 snow flakes with white cardstock, ink the edges with the stormy sky ink. 

4. Take the clear box packaging that the Sizzix die came in. cut off the front or top of the box section. Cut in half, use the snow flake on the edge die, cut out twice. Once you have to stripes of the snowflakes. Take alcohol ink and blending tool, using the Aqua dab ink over clear acetate. Take the two strips and glue on either side of the belly band. 

5. Take the snowflake from the nesting pack. Cut large snow flake in powder blue. Glue in the center. 

6. Take snow flake from the K&Company accessories, set using hot glue or a strong glue that will stick to plastic , glue in the center of the box. Embellish with grey twine and a blue button.  Fill with goodies or a gift for someone you love!
